A preview of a desktop app

AI Meter is an independent desktop usage widget being tested for Mac and Windows. The website shows sample readings to demonstrate its eight built-in themes. It is not an AI service, does not include an AI subscription and does not measure your account usage in the browser.

Claude requires a paid plan for usage readings; a Free account shows a paid-plan note. Codex requires a supported installation with a ChatGPT-backed login. Codex allowance is distinct from ordinary ChatGPT chat or model limits. Provider availability and integrations can change.

Plans can change during testing

The planned launch price is US$4.99 one-time. A seven-day trial is proposed and is not implemented. Trial enforcement and paid activation are not enabled. No release date, lifetime service, lifetime support or entitlement to future major versions is promised.

The themes shown here are the current built-in set. Custom-theme generation is not available. The purchase and refund information explains what remains to be decided before sales.

Independent of the providers

AI Meter is not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic or OpenAI. Claude, Codex and ChatGPT names refer to their respective providers’ products. An AI Meter purchase will not grant access to those providers’ services.
